Multi-purpose stadium
This stadium has 17,715 seats. It has 340 floodlights, some dedicated solely to athletics lighting, others to football, and 169 floodlights shared by both disciplines.
The athletics track
Comprising eight lanes, the track hosts the Herculis Meeting every July, which counts towards the Diamond League. This high-level competition was voted ‘Best Meeting 2014’ by the IAAF.
Every day, students from schools in the Principality, as well as various athletes from sports associations, use the track, the jumping areas (2 for high jump, 2 for long jump and 1 for triple jump) and the throwing areas.
The football pitch
The hybrid grass lawn, unique in its design as it is located 8.35 metres above street level, rests on the roof of the car park and requires highly sophisticated maintenance.
With a capacity of 17,715 seats and dimensions of 105 m by 68 m, the pitch complies with UEFA standards.
The pitch is the venue for AS Monaco FC football matches. However, it also hosts rugby matches, archery tournaments, etc.
